So I was in Indiana last weekend for the Indiana Robotics Invitational. I was volunteering doing field reset. If you don't know anything about FIRST, go check out this site --> http://www.usfirst.org But anyway, I was there at the competition until late Saturday afternoon where our team did not get picked for elimination rounds, so we packed up and left. While we were watching the rest of the elimination rounds via live webcam stream, apparently, not mentioning any names or anything, an alliance was found to be cheating. Now if you know anything about FIRST, gracious professionalism is the core and heart of FIRST. Now normally this is where I'd start ranting and going on and on about how that's really lame and stuff, but they ended up not winning the competition. Karma can be a b****, now can't it?
This past Monday I went and saw Inception. And oh my gosh. Amazing. In the words of the tweet of Dan Brown, Inception = The Matrix^2. It's all about dreams and the intricacies of them. So of course, after the movie I said something like, "I think I have a new favorite movie." It was definitely the best movie I've seen in a really long time. It makes you think and think hard. Especially once facts come up that you hadn't thought of before. Obviously, after seeing that movie, it raises three major questions. What are dreams? How do they form? Do they mean anything? Sure, there's debate for the latter 2 questions and people go back and forth on them like girls change clothes. Ok, bad analogy. But, in my mind, I've just figured that my brain throws together random stuff from inside my head and makes a story out of it. And I remember that at least a couple years ago, I could make myself dream about certain things... well, certain people... well, certain female people. And it was the coolest thing ever. Who wouldn't love to have constant dreams about his/her crush/bf/gf/etc, etc, etc? But I think that may be it for now. What do you all think about dreams? C'mon people! Feedback! I love it!
lol Trevor you're crazy. (^_^) You know what sucks? Nightmares. I had like 4 days in a row a couple weeks ago where all I had were negative dreams. Not cool. That's a pretty neat ability to intentionally dream about someone. :P
